I own two vintage Chinese sets inherited from my parents so my standards are quite high. I'm new to "American" style Mahjong and have been shopping for an American set. I've been trying to avoid the more cartoony looking graphics on sets and the plastic pushers (stands and pushers are totally foreign to me). This set is very tasteful, tiles are a satisfying weight, graphics are pleasing (although a tad bold for my taste) and the bag is discreet. The stands and pushers are downright beautiful in wood--although I received one set that doesn't work 'quite' right. Either they are warped or the magnet is weak. I tried swapping around each piece with other pushers/stands but either piece never works with other pusher/stands. I hope to be able to exchange this one pusher and stand without returning the entire set. Who hasn't been on THAT merry-go-round with other products in the past?

I had purchased the same set 10 years ago and absolutely loved it especially with the wooden pushers. Unfortunately, i do wash my set often. This time i washed it with Dawn and these tiles faded. I purchased this same set because i loved the quality of it. You make a great product.
One of the pushers was warped so I e-mailed Customer Service to have a replacement. They did send me a whole new set but one of the replacement pushers was even more warped! Otherwise the set is okay, but I would be hesitant to order wooden pushers again unless there is better quality control.

Very nice mahjong set. Smooth, pretty ivory tiles and beautiful wood tile racks. At first I thought it was missing the dice, scoring disks and wind indicator, but I found them in the zippered pocket of the case.
