The box is so pretty and the set itself well made and functional. There is a paper lining in the box, with an oriental pattern that is quite pretty but may tear off over time and use. Otherwise a sturdy and functional set.

I have been waiting for a beautiful Chinese Checkers set as the one I have is tin with a sack of marbles from when I was a kid. This set is classy enough to have on display with my Oriental furniture and Mahjong 🀄️ sets from Yellow Mountain. It is pricey even on sale, but it goes with my décor, and I love to play.
