Yunzi Exchange Program

Yunzi stones purchased before June 9, 2008 may contain a minor amount of lead. While this is not a health hazard when handling the stones normally, they do become a health risk if ingested into the body. It may seem logical to adults that Go stones are not meant for eating, but to small children Go stones can look invitingly like candy.

In addition to the lead related health risks of accidentally eating Yunzi stones, they, and all other Go stones are a serious choking hazard. Go stones are not intended for small children and should be kept away from them at all times, whether in use or in storage.

We at Yellow Mountain Imports take this lead concern seriously. If you do own a set of Yunzi stones from us purchased before June 9, 2008 and are concerned about its lead risks from accidental ingestion, we will gladly exchange your Yunzi for a new set. *Please note that Old Yunzi currently can only be exchanged for Standard Yunzi.

To exchange your stones, simply seal up all your Yunzi without the bowls into separate bags for white and black stones. Then pack them into a secure cardboard box along with your shipping address and send it to:

Please allow 1-2 weeks for single convex and 9.2mm double convex stones to arrive. Other sizes and types of yunzi make take up to 1 month.
